10% cut in Import Tax rates
GECEX Resolution No. 353 of 05.23.2022 – Federal Official Gazette of 05.24.2022 – This act amends GECEX Resolution No. 272/2021 and grants a temporary reduction in the tax rate for import goods.
The rates of the products listed under the Attachment section of the Resolution are temporarily and exceptionally reduced until December 31, 2023.
The measure aims to mitigate the impacts of supply chocks caused by the pandemic and by the international crisis on the Brazilian economy.
