2021 Minimum Salary
On December 30, 2020, the Provisional Measure 1021, was published providing for the national minimum salary amounting to BRL 1,100.00 (one thousand and one hundred Brazilian Reais) as of January 1, 2020.
The adjustment, compared to 2020, is 5.26%. The National Consumer Price Index (Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor - “INPC”) from January to November was considered in addition to the estimated variation of the financial market for the index in December 2020.
