2022 Minimum Salary
On December 30, 2021, the Provisional Measure 1,091 , was published establishing the minimum monthly wage of BRL 1,212.00 (one thousand, two hundred and twelve Brazilian reais) as of January 1, 2022.
The pay rise of 10.18% takes into account both the inflation adjustment determined by the National Consumer Price Index (Índice Nacional de Preço ao Consumidor, or INPC) from January to November, 2021, and the inflation projection for December, 2021, as per the estimate of the technical team of the Ministry of Economy.
