DPC and Tocantins Advogados had joined for workshop on Labor Reform

On July 28, Domingues and Pinho Contadores (DPC) and Tocantins Advogados had joined to present the workshop "Labor Reform: The Major Law Changes and Modernization Opportunities" at the Headquarters Building of the Industries Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro January (FIRJAN). The event, which was attended by speaker Bruno Tocantins, Labor Lawyer, and Partner of Tocantins Advogados, aimed to clarify the main aspects that involve the changes in labor relations after the publication of the Labor Modernization Law in July 2017.

About DPC and Tocantins Advogados two hundred (200) clients attended the workshop and was one of the first to broach the issue in Brazil. The speaker Bruno Tocantins highlighted the importance of the event at the current economic moment in Brazil. "We live a sensitive and serious moment in Brazil in almost every way. Any positive agenda initiative aimed at generating jobs, income, profitability, and, at the end of the day, generating a tax improvement due to an increase in employability level is welcome", he said. Bruno also spoke about the importance of partnership with DPC. "Domingues e Pinho Contadores is leader of operations in its area throughout the country. Manuel Domingues e Pinho, CEO of DPC, explained that the timing for the event was essential for the public success. "Before the publication of the Labor Modernization Law, Bruno and I decided - in a conversation moment - to hold an event whose purpose would be to provide the first clarification on the main changes brought about by the Labor Reform. I believe this timing was the main factor that allowed us to bring together 200 people from largest companies that morning, despite the current scenario in Rio de Janeiro. The results of the event were great", he said.
