Sefaz-RJ reopens the Portal de Verificação de Benefícios Fiscais
The Rio de Janeiro State Treasury Department (Sefaz-RJ) has reopened the Portal de Verificação de Benefícios Fiscais (Checking Portal of Tax Benefits, in English) for taxpayers to submit appeals, information and documents in order to settle the pending issues raised in the contested decision, which determines the preventive suspension of the use or definitive loss of the right to enjoy tax benefits.
The portal is available at the Sefaz-RJ website (access here) and the deadline to provide information is 30 days, counting from the date of knowledge of the tax authorities' subpoenas.
