Requirement of the Labor Inspection Book

The Labor Inspection Book is a compulsory book and every company must have, except for Micro and Small Businesses, in which the Labor Fiscal Auditor will record the visit to the establishment, taking note of its functional identification, date and time of beginning and end of inspection and indicating, if applicable, any irregularities, as well as requirements to solve them, as well as their deadlines.

Companies or employers that hold more than one establishment, subsidiary, or branch must have as many Labor Inspection Books as there are establishments.

The "Labor Inspection" book should have the following specifications:

a) be bound, in dark color, size 22 x 33 cm;

b) contain 100 sheets typographically numbered, in satin white paper, full-bodied and lined, according to model number 1 in the Ordinance MTPS nº 3.158/1971;

c) the sheets 1 and 100 should contain, respectively, the opening term and closing term, by the company or employer, according to model numbers 2 and 3 of said Ordinance.
