Doing Business in Brazil: DPC contributes with the Britcham's guide to the Brazilian business environment

British Chamber publication is directed to foreign executives and entrepreneurs who intend to invest in the Brazilian market.

Domingues e Pinho Contadores used its expertise in the accounting, financial and tax fields to contribute to the 7th edition of Doing Business in Brazil, published by Britcham. The 2020 guide was launched in the first half of March in Manchester and London, England.

The publication serves as a guiding manual for foreign executives and entrepreneurs who intend to invest in Brazil, a country known for its complex legislation.

More specifically, DPC collaborated with information for the chapter on foreign investments in Brazil, clarifying points related to direct and indirect investments.

In direct investment, the foreign investor establishes some type of corporate entity or an equity interest in an existing Brazilian company.

In the indirect form, domiciled abroad can make investments in the Brazilian financial and capital markets, among other possibilities.

DPC was invited to contribute to the publication due to its experience in advising multinational companies in the implantation, adaptation and development of their business in Brazilian territory, helping to comply with the current local rules.

The guide provides a tax, labor, financial, banking and regulatory overview, introducing interested investors to the characteristics of this market. In addition to DPC, other companies also associated with Britcham collaborated with the preparation of the material.
