Municipality of Rio de Janeiro extends expiration of the Health Licensing Fee
On April 15, 2020, Decree nº 47.374 was published, which postpones the payment of the Health Licensing Fee (TLS), in 2020, from April 30 to June 30, 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic COVID-19.
It is worth mentioning that this postponement does not imply an extension of the period of application for health licensing, which remains until the last business day of April (April 30, 2020).
In addition, the requirement for health licensing will automatically trigger the issuance of the Municipal Collection Document (DARM-RIO), due on June 30, 2020.
The absence of a requirement for health licensing or payment of DARM-RIO until its expiration, will subject violators to the sanctions of fine and interdiction of the establishment or activity.
