MP 932 – Conversion into law with veto to reduce contribution rates to the S System

The President of the Republic completely vetoed Article 1 of Law 14,025, converting Provisional Measure (MP) 932, which provided for a 50% reduction in the rates of contributions to the autonomous social services (System S), as follows:

a) National Service for Learning from Cooperativism (Sescoop);

b) Industry Social Service (Sesi), Commerce Social Service (Sesc) and Transport Social Service (Sest);

c) National Industrial Apprenticeship Service (Senai), National Commercial Apprenticeship Service (Senac) and National Transport Apprenticeship Service (Senat);

d) National Rural Apprenticeship Service (Senar).

The reduction originally provided for in MP 932/2020 took effect from April to June/2020. The veto will be put voted in Congress, which may overturn it.
