New changes in eSocial schedule

On July 1, 2021, Ordinance SEPRT/RFB No. 71, which determines new changes to the eSocial implementation schedule, was published. The Ordinance affects all eSocial groups and splits Group 3 into legal entities and individuals, setting different dates for each one.

The eSocial stages consist on the obligation to submit the following information:

• Stage 1: table events;
• Stage 2: non-periodic events;
• Stage 3: periodic events;
• Stage 4: Occupational Health and Safety events

Check the changes for each group:

GROUP 1 – Companies with income greater than BRL 78 million in 2016

Stage 4 is postponed to October 13, 2021.

GROUP 2 – Companies with income of up to BRL 78 million in 2016, not opting for Simples Nacional

Stage 4 is postponed to January 10, 2022.

GROUP 3 - Individual taxpayers and employers (except domestic employers), legal entities opting for Simples Nacional and nonprofit organizations

The Ordinance split group 3 in the following groups:

a) Group 3 - legal entities

The dates remain the same, previously set for Group 3 as a whole. The next stage, for submitting Occupational Health and Safety events, starts on January 10, 2022.

b) Group 3 - individuals

• Stage 3 is postponed to July 19, 2021.
• Stage 4 is postponed to January 10, 2022.

GROUP 4 - Government agencies and international organizations

Stage 1 is postponed to July 21, 2021.

Stage 2 is postponed to November 22, 2021.

Stage 3 is postponed to April 22, 2021.

Stage 4 remains on July 11, 2021.
