PIS/PASEP on payroll: tax calculation integrated into eSocial and DCTFWeb
Previously transmitted closing events must be reopened for recalculating the applicable taxes
A recent development is impacting the tax routines of employers. On January 24th, the calculation of PIS/PASEP on payrolls have been integrated into the eSocial platform. These tax details will now be displayed in event S-5011 and subsequently relayed to the DCTFWeb system.
This adjustment demands attention from taxpayers, especially those who had already finalized closing events for the January 2024 reporting period prior to the implementation of this new functionality. To guarantee accurate tax recalculation, it is essential to reopen these events and initiate a new closing procedure.
It should be noted that employers whose PIS/PASEP liabilities have been waived on account of a court order must directly provide the corresponding information on the DCTFWeb. They must supply specific details regarding judicial claims and amounts due, since the eSocial system does not accommodate such circumstances.
