DPC Honors Director Glória Cunha For 40 Years Of Dedication and Excellence

From trainee to director, Glória has built an inspiring career that began in the same year that DPC was founded.

On November 19, 1984, Glória Cunha began a professional journey that would become exemplary, driven by her passion for accounting and her commitment to work. Now, in 2024, Domingues e Pinho Contadores is celebrating the success of this 40-year journey of dedication, which began with the entry of a trainee.

Glória's story was built as DPC also established itself in the accounting market. It's worth remembering that the company recently celebrated its 40th anniversary in this past April.

“After DPC's initial phase, which started with just nine employees at the foundation, there was a need to structure a new team. And Glória was part of that movement. She stood out very quickly and less than a year later, in August 1985, she moved up to the position of assistant,” recalls founder Manuel Domingues e Pinho.

“He says that Glória was invited to become a partner in the company in 1989, after a successful job with a very important foreign client in the international trade sector. “She has always been responsible, dedicated and has shown that she embodies what is non-negotiable for DPC: ethics and quality,” he explains.

With a strategic vision and in-depth technical expertise, Glória has been a director since 1997 and is considered a mentor by many, as well as being recognized and respected by colleagues and clients.

“Glória is a role model for accountants who came after her, both for her technical rigor and her commitment to punctuality and meeting deadlines. With a reserved personality but always very active, what stands out the most is the quality of her work," emphasizes Pinho.

Over the years, under her leadership, DPC established solid partnerships and built trusted relationships in sectors such as energy and oil and gas. Her experience and understanding of the dynamics of these industries, which have evolved significantly in recent decades, contributed to consolidating the company's position in this market.
