Innovative leadership: DPC immerses in the Disney world

With its consolidated success in the business world, Disney has much to teach about management and leadership. To learn about the strategies experienced by veterans who worked in this charmed and profitable universe, representatives of Domingues e Pinho Contadores participated from May 28 to 31 in The Magic of Innovative Leadership course, in Orlando, United States.

The program is run by a company headed by professionals who have worked for more than 20 years at Disney and includes lectures, technical visits to the parks and backstage, in a 28-hour immersion.

The course highlights the business culture with a focus on leadership, services quality and customer service. Through this case, the participant is led to a reflection on his entrepreneurial vision, as well as how to engage his or her team and deploy improvements in the company’s management itself.

Manuel Domingues e Pinho, DPC’s director-president, said that the Disney employees’ sense of belonging is visible and that the shared leadership sense is striking, in which each employee has the autonomy to make decisions in the most diverse situations. "Innovative leadership is based on the understanding that generating a good customer experience is everyone's responsibility”, he adds.

In addition to Manuel Domingues e Pinho Raquel Pinho, William Pinho and Karine Lammel represented the DPC in this course.
