eSocial - Deadline for Group 1 to use GRF and GRRF is ending

The companies of eSocial Group 1 (those earning revenues greater than BRL 78 million in 2016) should have attention to the deadline for the generation and payment of monthly and terminatory FGTS forms (Guia para Recolhimentos Mensais e Rescisórios do FGTS - “GRFGTS”).

As previously disclosed (see here), the CEF Circular 843/2019, published on Jan-31-2019, gave this group of employers an extension to the deadline, as follows:

a) Until July/2019 (maturity 07/08/2019): deadline to pay the monthly FGTS, through the GRF (FGTS Payment Slip), issued by SEFIP;

b) Until 07/31/2019: use the FGTS Terminatory Payment Slip (Guia de Recolhimento Rescisório do FGTS - “GRRF”), for terminations of employment contracts that occurred up to that date.

We remind all eligible companies must be attentive to the deadline and organized so that the change is successful, as from then on, the new GRFGTS will be compulsory.
