CEF publishes circular about changes in the deployment schedule of eSocial

Caixa Circular 819/2018, published on Aug-22-2018, approved a change in the deployment schedule of eSocial, adapting it to the changes previously brought by CD Resolution/eSocial 4/2018 and establishing new deadlines for transmission of events.

Deadlines

For the events related to the Service Length Guarantee Fund (Fundo de Garantia do Tempo de Serviço “FGTS”), the following deadlines shall be practiced:

The requirement to use eSocial from January 2019 onwards, for the special insured person and small rural individual farmer, must be progressively fulfilled, as follows:

• the information contained in the events of Tables S-1000 to S-1080 of the eSocial layout should be sent from 8:00 a.m. on Jan-14-2019 and updated thereafter;
• the information contained in the non-periodic events S-2190 to S-2400 at the eSocial layout should be sent from 8:00 a.m. on Mar-1-2019, as provided for in the eSocial Guidance Manual (MOS); and
• the information contained in the periodic events S-1200 to S-1300 at the eSocial layout should be sent from 8 a.m. on May-01-2019, for the events occurring after that date.

Important:

• The special insurer and the small rural individual farmer may choose to send events information of phases 1 and 2, cumulatively with those related to the events of phase 3 on May-01-2019.
• The micro and small business, and the individual microentrepreneur (MEI) may also choose to file the events of phases 1 and 2 information, cumulatively with those related to the events of phase 3 on Nov-11-2018.

Revocation

The item 5 of Circular CAIXA 802/2018 was partially revoked, regarding the revocation of Circular CAIXA 761/2017.
