CGSIM - Addresses simplification measures and provides for the operational model of entrepreneur and legal entity registration and legalization
Resolution CGSIM No. 66 , May 17, 2021 (published on the Federal Official Journal on May 21, 2021) amends Resolutions CGSIM No. 61/2020 and No. 62/2020. Among other measures, it is determined that: as from July 1, 2021, legal entities will be exempted from business name previous search if they choose to use the Corporate Taxpayer Identification Number (Cadastro Nacional de Pessoa Jurídica - CNPJ) as its business name, followed by digits identifying the company type.
