Companies are relieved from the obligation to submit PPP to eSocial in 2022
Until the issuance of the electronic PPP is mandatory, as from January 2023, the document is still to be submitted in paper.
Published on February 18, the Ordinance MTP No. 334/2022 defines directives regarding the issuance of the Social Security Professiographic Profile (Perfil Profissiográfico Previdenciário, or PPP) in electronic form.
According to the government’s information, the enactment of this rule intents to grant legal certainty to companies through the electronic PPP implementation, besides allowing for the adaptation to the new way to prepare said document.
The implementation of PPP exclusively in its digital form in will take place on January 1, 2023. It is important to remember that, until then, PPP will continue to be required in its handwritten form from companies, without any changes on the rules currently in power for the submission.
