Companies must complete the salary transparency report by 02/28

Requirement applies to companies with 100 or more employees

In an official statement, the Ministry of Labor and Employment announced that by February 28, companies with 100 or more employees must enter their workforce data into the Portal Emprega Brasil to contribute to the 3rd Salary Transparency and Remuneration Criteria Report.
Additionally, employers must report the actions taken to promote the hiring of women in their workforce, aiming for gender equity within companies.
It is worth noting that even companies that have already submitted this information in both 2024 editions must update their data. This is a requirement under the Pay Equity Law, issued in 2023 by the Federal Government.
After companies submit the required data, the Ministry will release the full report on March 17. Subsequently, employers will have until March 31 to publish this report on their digital platforms.

Penalty for non-compliance

If the company fails to comply with the requirements, the administrative penalty will correspond to up to 3% of the employer's payroll, limited to 100 minimum wages, without prejudice to the sanctions applicable to cases of wage discrimination and remuneration criteria.
