DIRPF deadline approaches: June 30

Individual taxpayers must pay attention to the submission of the Annual Income Tax Adjustment Declaration - Individual Income Tax (DIRPF) for the fiscal year 2020 (year 2019 calendar). The deadline is approaching: June 30. Initially, the deadline for submission was April 30, but there was an extension according to Normative Instruction No. 1.930 / 2020 of the Federal Revenue of Brazil (RFB).

The deadline for payment of the first or single quota also expires on June 30, 2020. Taxpayers who will request automatic debit to pay the tax due, will have until June 10, 2020 to pay the single or 1st installment.

The extension of the DIRPF deadline for the 2019 calendar year is part of the package of measures to deal with the effects of the crisis caused by the coronavirus COVID-19. Take more advantage of this deadline to organize the documentation for your declaration.

Receipt number of previous declaration

The normative instruction also revoked the requirement to inform the number contained in the receipt of delivery of the last declaration, which will facilitate the life of the taxpayer who would be obliged to go to the RFB service to obtain no number.

Refund

The Government has not changed the dates for refunding the IR. For now, the first batch remains scheduled for 05/29/2020.
