Domingues e Pinho Contadores joins the Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce

Association of the company to the Chamber of Commerce reflects the interest in expanding partnerships and business with the Chinese

Domingues e Pinho Contadores (DPC), which has in its portfolio Chinese companies in the area of finance, energy and oil and gas, intends to expand the relationship with other partners of this nationality. One step in this direction was its association in January with the Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Brasil-China – “CCIBC”).

The institution works to promote the economic and cultural exchange between these countries and to support the development of strategic partnerships. According to João Henrique Brum, director of DPC, the company's association with CCIBC reflects the interest in approaching Chinese investors who are increasingly allocating capital in Brazil, as well as seeking potential opportunities for Brazilian investors in the Chinese market.

Data from the Ministry of Planning released in January this year show that Chinese investments in Brazil in the last two months of 2017 totaled US$ 6.7 billion. The government projects the numbers to be even more robust throughout 2018. "Domingues e Pinho is prepared to meet the demands of Chinese companies intending to establish and expand business in Brazil, advising on the regulatory, accounting and tax aspects of diversified industries, "says Brum.

The Brazil-China Chamber is a non-profit civil entity, founded in 1986 in São Paulo, where its Brazilian headquarters is located. The organization assists Brazilian and Chinese businesses in promoting mutually beneficial transactions.
