The Client

PALFINGER group is one of the world leaders in technology and production of hydraulic equipment for cargo handling, installed in commercial vehicles and ships. The Austrian-based multinational now has manufacturing and assembly facilities in Europe, South and North America, and Asia, as well as sales points and technical assistance on five continents. Its exports reach more than 130 countries, which places PALFINGER as a global presence company.

Demand

Incorporation is always a rigorously planned process. But its impacts are inevitable and affect the incorporating company in all its aspects. In 2017, PALFINGER completed the process of incorporating of Harding, aiming to expanding its operations in the Brazilian market. This transaction resulted in an increase of the accounting movement in about 160%.

Domingues e Pinho Contadores team, which already provided accounting, tax and personnel support for the company, faced the challenge of meeting the deadline of the first month closing with the considerable increase of movement, and having to face the information transition between the tax department and personnel department.

As PALFINGER meets the deadlines for reporting financial and tax information from its base abroad, the deadline should be met, avoiding negative developments for the Brazilian unit.  

DPC Solutions

To meet the significant increase in data volume, DPC team developed an emergency validation plan and an information flow. In this process, the dedication of the Accounting area was crucial to meeting the deadline. The team acted beyond its routine, focusing on the project and working in a committed way with the service delivery and with the necessary results for this client.
