DPC present at OTC Houston 2023

On a business mission, Luciana Uchôa represented DPC at OTC – the world’s largest offshore trade show – and side events

From May 1 to 4, Luciana Uchôa, president of DPC, represented the company at the 2023 edition of the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), the largest oil and gas trade show in the world, held in Houston, USA. With the market on a new rise, the event offered a positive outlook for agents in the sector.

Bringing together major O&G players, OTC features an extensive technical agenda and lectures, while offering countless opportunities for collaboration and networking. According to the organization, over 24,000 professionals from the industry attended the event, with a record-breaking attendance from Brazilians, with about 50 exhibiting companies at the Brazil Pavilion and 1,000 Brazilian attendees.

"The energy and oil and gas industries are an important part of DPC's client base and attending this event, as we have done in recent years, is always an opportunity to keep up to date with innovations, trends, challenges, and relevant issues in the market," said Uchôa.

On her international mission, the executive also participated in side events. The day before the opening of the OTC, DPC’s president attended the Fifth Edition of the Brazilian Meeting, held by FGV Energia in order to promote discussions and partnerships.

Uchôa was also present at the Brazil Energy Meeting, held by the ZoomOut Group and sponsored by IBP, an institute with which DPC is associated. The meeting’s agenda focused on the expansion of strategic relationships and business creation.

Together with representatives of the sector, DPC was also present at the BRATECC Offshore Breakfast 2023, which fostered technical showcases and provided a chance for networking among participants.

Wrapping up the week, Uchôa attended the presentation "New Perspectives for the Brazilian Energy Sector: The Renewables Drive", which provided a positive outlook for investments in Brazil, especially in renewable energy.

"Being up to date with the latest discussions in the oil, gas and energy industries is crucial for understanding the market and providing distinguished BPO services. Our goal is to get even closer to our clients, contributing to their business in Brazil," said the executive.
