DPC sponsors carbon market event

By supporting this effort, DPC fosters discussions on a key market that shows huge potential in Brazil

Domingues e Pinho Contadores was among the sponsors of the Climate & Carbon Seminar: The Development of Carbon Markets, an event held on November 22 in Rio de Janeiro.

Organized by Amcham - the American Chamber of Commerce in Brazil, an entity to which DPC is a member, this meeting brought together specialists to discuss the main trends in the industry.

Representatives of leading companies held panel discussions on the prospects for the Brazilian Cap and Trade System (SBCE), addressed carbon market opportunities and expressed their expectations for COP-28.

"By keeping abreast of the scenario, we can identify better ways of supporting our clients' businesses, especially those that have been spearheading changes and promoting discussions on the transition to a low-carbon economy," said Luciana Uchôa, president of DPC.

The executive attended the morning discussions and explained the company's support for the event. "In conjunction with other efforts, this sponsorship is a way for us to contribute to debates at a time when businesses must find a balance between economic growth and environmental sustainability, including demands for net zero emissions," she added.
