DPC supports new season of Desafio nas Escolas

Series features public school students in Rio de Janeiro taking on the challenge of transforming their educational institutions

Domingues e Pinho Contadores, through its social and environmental responsibility program, DPC Transforma, has demonstrated its commitment to cultural and educational development. Being among the sponsors of "Desafio nas Escolas" (Schools Challenge) is one of the ways this commitment is expressed.

Now in its third season, the series aims to improve the reality of public school students in Rio de Janeiro. In the show, primary and secondary students from four schools take the lead in their stories, collaborating to address and solve issues within their institutions based on the changes they wish to see.

Each episode presents a new challenge, and each story marks a triumph for the students: the revitalization of a basketball court, the transformation of recyclable materials into a clothing collection showcased in a sustainable fashion show, a carnival song competition, new equipment for a film studio, and a videocast workshop.

The program premiered on July 29 on Canal Futura and is also available for viewing on Globoplay.
