eSocial: entry into force of events related to labor lawsuits has been postponed

The Federal Revenue Service announced that events must be filed using the DCTFWeb as of July 2023

On March 30, the eSocial Portal announced that the upcoming requirement for the submission of events related to labor lawsuits will not enter into force on April 1, 2023 as originally planned.

The new effective date was disclosed the following day, with the publication of Normative Ruling RFB No. 2.139/2023, which set July 2023 as the month as of which the DCTFWeb will replace the Social Security Information Payment Bill (GFIP) corresponding to the submission of said events through the eSocial.

Thus, employers must plan ahead so as not to fall behind schedule, because, from July 1, 2023 on, they will be required to report information on final judgments and settlement agreements ratified by Labor Courts through the DCTFWeb, which will replace the GFIP-Reclamatória currently in use.
