Home screen
New tab on the home screen, with a button for authentication through a gov.br account, important messages and useful dynamic links for services and guidance.
“Goods and rights” form
The Federal Revenue Office announced features to ease the completion of the “Goods and rights” form: grouping, removal, and creation of codes, besides modifications to better identify goods such as automobiles, vessels, airplanes, and constructions.
Dependents
Fields were created for new information: cellphone (optional), electronic address (optional), and the information of whether they live with the registrant.
Child Support/Alimony
The form starts to require the information about who the obligor is, this may be the registrant or any of their dependents.
Payments
Complementary Social Security: the code 38 – Individual Scheduled Retirement Fund – has been removed; those values must be declared on the 36 – Complementary Social Security (including FAPI); there is a field to inform any non-deductible amounts = extraordinary contributions.
On the code 99 – Other, it is going to be possible to identify with whom the expense was made: the registrant or the dependent.
For every code, it will be possible to inform a payment description.
Variable Income
The income from investment funds on agro-industrial productive chain (Fiagro) must be declared on the Variable Income form, alongside with Real Estate Investment Trust (FII). The compensation of results between those funds is allowed.
Prepopulated Declaration
The prepopulated declaration may be obtained through the authentication on the gov.br portal, as long as the taxpayer has an account with gold or silver security level. The agent can access the principal’s data.
The prepopulated declaration will be available on March 15.
Income Tax progressive tables
There has been no modification in values regarding the previous years. Take a look at the tables:
