Luciana Uchôa takes office as president of Amcham Rio

In addition to her role leading DPC, the executive assumes another important leadership position in Rio de Janeiro's business landscape.

On April 9, Luciana Uchôa was sworn in as Chair of the Amcham Rio Council, beginning the 2025/2026 term. The position was handed over by Julian Chediak, who presided over the organization from 2019 to 2024, leaving a significant legacy of growth and strengthening of the network.

In her inauguration speech, Luciana Uchôa highlighted Amcham Rio's role as an important link between Brazil and the United States, promoting a space for constructive dialogue, strategic connections, and mutual cooperation. The expectation for the coming years is that the Chamber will continue to serve as an active platform to foster a dynamic, competitive business environment aligned with global trends.

The ceremony was attended by several business leaders, including Manuel Domingues e Pinho, Luiz Caldas, Fabiana Soares, Marluci Azevedo, and Adriana Costa, partners at DPC.

Domingues e Pinho has been a member of the American Chamber of Commerce since 1997, maintaining frequent collaboration in thematic committees and participation in events. Luciana Uchôa has also served on the organization's board in previous terms. Amcham plays a prominent role in promoting Brazil-U.S. relations and business.
