OSB-Rio completes two years and elects new members to board of directors and fiscal

An entity supported by Domingues e Pinho Contadores, Observatório Social do Rio (OSB-Rio) elected new members to the board of directors and inspectors for the biennium 2019/2020. The election coincides with the institution's second anniversary, which is based on improving transparency in public management.

The new elected team, led by President Sandra Helena Pedroso, has among its priorities the development of actions that promote the best use of public resources in the municipal scope.

With the election, Jefferson Gonçalves, manager of DPC's Financial Management, who was already a volunteer in the OSB-Rio working groups, also became the entity's fiscal councilor, now accumulating the practical and advisory responsibilities.

“The organization has been growing a lot since its inception, and this new cycle is intended to further boost this growth by attracting more financial resources to expand the work,” said Jefferson.

DPC has supported the institution since its foundation, believing in the important contribution of OSB-Rio to the society as an agency that generates positive impact for the improvement of public management.

In a brief period of existence, among many conquests and advances, the entity conquered recognition as one of the 22 Brazilian initiatives evaluated by the National Council of the Public Ministry (Conselho Nacional do Ministério Público - “CNMP”) as an incentive instrument to social integrity and citizenship.
