São Paulo City Hall - the regulation of tax credits not included in the Active Debt is amended
The Municipality of São Paulo published, on 08/11/2020, an act that restores the administrative tax installments interrupted after the public calamity due to the new coronavirus pandemic, which occurred on March 20, 2020.
This is SF/SUREM Internal Order 2/2020, which allows the resumption of the installment plans related to the Installment Payment Incentive Program (PPI), in all its editions, the Debt Settlement Program (PRD) and the Administrative Installment Payment of Tax Debts (PAT) that were interrupted due to nonpayment after the occurrence of a public calamity.
The official date of interruption present in the detailed statement made available by the Tax Administration to those who opted by the installments will be used as reference.
While the public calamity condition remains, the counting of outstanding payment periods is suspended for exclusion of taxpayers participating in the installment plans.
The taxpayer with overdue payments is entitled to pay any unpaid installments, regardless of their due date, with the legal increases, in accordance with the legislation governing its installment plan.
The SF/SUREM Internal Order 2/2020 is in force as of its publication date.
