The ordinance that included Covid-19 in the list of occupational diseases is revoked
The GM/MS Ordinance 2345/2020 was published in the Extra Edition of the Official Gazette of Sep-02-2020, updating the List of Diseases Related to Work (LDRT), which makes the GM/MS Ordinance 2309/2020 with no effects.
The canceled ordinance included the Coronavirus (Covid-19) in LDRT. However, after the publication of the new text, the disease is no longer part of that list, and is no longer associated with work.
If it had not been canceled, this change would make it possible to recognize as occupational accidents cases of contamination by Covid-19. Moreover, it could generate effects on FAP - Factor Accident Insurance index and, consequently, the amount to be collected as a contribution by RAT - Environmental Labor Risks.
